Lydia Richards Yoga_Not About Me.JPG

Hi, I’m Lydia and this is not
about me

I am just the vessel through which the practices flow.

These Yogic practices are sacred to me and I am grateful to my teachers who helped me to see the light in the dark cave of my wondering.

But now it’s up to me to keep remembering that it’s there.

This is why I practice. Practice chanting the Name (of the Divine), gently moving my body and allowing my body and mind to rest.

Just like you I am a seeker of light and have been for over a decade. I’ve felt deep despair, grief and uncertainty too. And as hard as they are to feel, these are the vehicles for deep spiritual realisation.

It has been my personal experience that it is our pain and suffering that eventually leads us back to wholeness and effortless Love (Grace).

Radhanath Swami says “we reduce suffering by cultivating a higher inner experience.”

That’s why I practice.

Seek the light and I promise you, you’ll be okay.
